The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new...

“Without belittling the courage with which men (or woman) have died, we should not forget those acts of courage which with they lived. The courage of life is often a less dramatic spectacle than the courage of a final moment; but it is no less a magnificent example of triumph over tragedy…”

Remembrance is a golden chain that death tries to break but all in vain.
To have, to love, and then to part is the greatest sorrow of one's heart.
The years may wipe out many things but some they wipe out never.

The hero is the one who kindles a great light in the world, who sets up blazing torches in the dark streets of life for men to see by. The saint is the man who walks through the dark paths of the world, himself a light...
From within or from behind, a light shines through us upon things, and makes us aware that we are nothing, but the light is all...
"I SALUTE YOU" - It's a phrase we hear from the time we are young. The word 'salute' can be defined in one sentence or you could easily write an essay explaining this indescribable symbol of respect, gratitude, and admiration. If there is any part of the United States of America that can be considered to be a Monarchy, then our Queens would be the determined, brave, and courageous Gold Star Moms that find the emotional and spiritual strength to get up each day and carry the torch their sons and daughters ignited to illuminate the freedom of this country...

Prince Harry of the UK visited New York in the summer of 2010. Isaac’s Gold Star mom, Emily, gave him a bracelet in memory of Isaac. Not only did Prince Harry ask Emily to put it on, he could be seen later in the day at a Polo match (clips were shown on CNN) and he was still wearing the bracelet.
